4. If sojourn time in macau is for more than 14 days, a registration will have to be obtained from the Traffic Department . |

Renter must be: |
|
Minimum 25 years old(or above) and have held a full driving licence for 3 years or above . |

Additional Driver : |
|
Additional driver is accepted with a surcharge of $20 per person per day, and the maximum charges is $200 . |

Deposit : |
|
Must be held by credit card for at least HKD5000 . |
|
|
|
Payment Method : |
1.Cash .

|
Pick up time : |
|
Renter should collect the car at the confirmed time. If an alternate pick up time is required, please inform AVIS MACAU, otherwise, car type cannot be guaranteed. (Under normal circumstances, AVIS MACAU will hold the car for collection not more than 1 hour) . |

|
|
Rental Period : |
Daily rates are based on 24 hour periods；
All rates include unlimited mileage；
All rentals are subject to terms and conditions of the rental agreement ；
Renter is liable for cost of replacement car if the car is stolen . |
|
|
|
Extension of Rental : |
|
Should an extension of the rental is required, the renter must inform AVIS in advance so insurance coverage can be extended accordingly. Extension will not be allowed without prior notice to AVIS ; And such extension will be approved subject to availability .

|
|
Gasoline : |
|
A full tank of gasoline is provided at timeof rental, and must be refilled at renter's expense upon return. Otherwise we will charge for a appropriate gasoline charge PLUS a refueling service charge of $50. |
|
|
|
Insurance : |
|
Rates include the Third Party Insurance. In case of accident, the renter is still liable to pay for the cost of damages (not exceeding the Maximum Liability set for each car group if CDW applied.)
|
|
|
|
CDW : |
|
Renter is liable for all damages to the car. CDW (Collision Damage Waiver, applies to damage caused by collision ONLY ) can be purchased to reduce the maximum liability . Details are available upon request.

|
|
Important Note : |
|
In the event of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved from the accident scene and an accident & alcohol report must be obtained from the nearest police station. Failure to do so will render all insurance void. Should it be found that the renter / driver driving whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the renter will be fully responsible for the damages and for the losses of third parties both financially and legally. In case of theft of the vehicle, the renter must report to the nearest police station. Moreover, nearest AVIS office should be informed for the accident or theft of the vehicle. |

Special Equipment: |
|
Special equipment such as child seats is available for rental. Details are available upon request. |
|
|
|
Cancellation and No Show Penalty : |
|
A. During peak season (such as Grand Prix, Christmas, etc) . |
|
One(1) day holiday rental charge will be applied when :
- cancellation is made less than Five (5) days before pick up ; or
- No show
|
|
|
|
B. Normal period |
50% of One (1) day rental charge will be applied when :
- cancellation is made less than 24 hours before pick up; or
- No Show. |
|
|
|
Matters Need Attention : |
1. Please ask for parking permit before drive your car into the AVIS Macau Station’s car park. Otherwise, Grand Lapa Hotel will charge you $30 per hour for your entry. And you will be charged at full day (24 hours) parking if you lost the ticket (CCTV monitored).
2. Car should be returned during our office hour (08:00-21:00). It is the renter’s responsibility to pay for all costs generated (such as car damaged and unfulfilled gasoline cost) before the “Car Check-in“ procedure can be done upon returning Car or on the next working day.
3. The “Car Check-in“ procedure takes around 15-30 minutes. If you want to leave our counter before the procedure completed, you have to sign on a credit card sales slip with no amount specified and agreed to pay for the total costs such as unfilled gasoline cost (plus $50 service charge), car damaged cost, etc.
4. In case of early retum, any balance of related fee is non-refundable.
5. For any traffic violation.
5.1 Misdemeanors (such as speeding, disobey the traffic lights, reverse driving, incorrect use of special paths, etc.) , you need to pay the fines to either the Traffic Department or the Police Department directly in person.
5.2 Administrative offense (such as illegal parking ,using the mobile phone when driving, overload; not feeding the parking meter , etc..) you can either pay in person or via the online paying system of the Traffic Department. Should you need any assistance on payment from Avis Macau , please inform us when you return the vehicle. You need to pay the full fines and the 50% on top for the service charge.
If fines cannot be paid before the deadline and the case passed to the Court for trial, you need to bear with all the attorney’s fees, judicial fees and the 50% administrative cost with respect to the case.
6. In case of accident, it is the responsibility of the Lessee to report the case to the Police. In the event of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved from the accident scene and an accident and alcohol report must be obtained from the nearest police station, failure to do so will render all insurances void. Should it be found that the renter/driver driving whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the renter will be fully responsible for the damage and for the losses of third parties both financially and legally. Moreover, nearest AVIS Office should be informed for the accident or theft of the vehicle.
7. Free replacement of vehicle is provided should the rental vehicle need to be off the road for more than 2 hours. However, please be reminded that this clause only cover the vehicle on the road by mechanical faults. If it was caused by the driver or third party’s fault, the cost of the replacement will be charged at their own cost.
8. Please note that $200 will be charged if any documents (such as the Third Party Insurance Card and the Vehicle Register Card) inside the car are damaged or lost.
9. Please ask for a receipt whenever you paid. |
